Pyrite from Utah

*from the Lark Mine, Salt Lake County, Utah.
*11 x 11 x 10 mm.

A nice pyrite crystal with one point of contact. The heavy striations are distinct for this location. A number of these were preserved by one of the geologists right before the mine closed.  This thumbnail is a great specimen from this closed location.
