Vehicle: TBD. High clearance always recommended, we will let you know if a is 4x4 required.

Kids: Will have a blast!

Difficulty: TBD. Depending on which claim we go to, there could be hiking involved. Gold panning requires some mobility and ability to squat/kneel, scoop, etc.

Skill: High to succeed, but if you've never panned for gold before, this will be a fun trip to learn and try it out. Pat from the UGPC will be at our open house on 8/27 to teach gold panning!

Tools: Waterproof boots! A gold pan is the most essential tool along with a shovel and classifiers (screens). Adrienne will have gold panning kits available on here website here: https://crystalbarista.com

Limit: 50 people

Fee: $40 per family to pay for the UGPC membership. If you're already a member, then no charge! Your spot is not reserved until payment is received; contact Rick to pay by phone (801-910-6958), email (rdalrymple@kw.com), or messenger.

About the trip: We are excited this year to partner with the Utah Gold Prospecting Club (UGPC)! UGPC works to maintain multiple claims for its members' use, so your $40 fee covers membership in the club to allow you access to their claims for one year. We will be river panning, so be ready for some water and shenanigans!
