Gilsonite (urintahite)

*from Bonanza, Utah
*55 x 40 x 20 mm overall.

The old tag says Urintahite but it means Uintahite. It also says it is from MyTon, Utah. Myton is a tiny town on the Ute Indian Reservation. The actual site for this is about another hours drive away. There isn't any deposits in Myton. 

ex: F.P. D'Esopo collection. ex: Don Halterman Collection. Don has had it since the 1980's when he paid $20 for it~according to the tag.
