Azurite & Malachite on Sandstone

A mix of azurite and malachite on sandstone. This is from the famous Blue Crystal mine in the La Sal Mountains of southern Utah. The Dakota aged sandstone here sits on the La Sal Fault where the copper minerals concentrated. Seams like this are not often preserved.
